Stream Weaver Flies shop is located in Red Deer, Alberta at 3829-50A Street serving all of Central Alberta and beyond with all your fly tying and fly-fishing needs. Many refer to us the one stop shop, while still others have said “if Stream Weaver Flies doesn’t stock it, you don’t need it”. We take great care and obsess over making sure we have a good stock of fly-tying materials for all levels of fly tiers. Our inventory consists of over 3000 different products for fly tying alone.
We will be stocking products from Canadian Llama, Wapsi fly tying company, Hareline Dubbing Inc. and Natures Spirit Fly Tying. If we don’t stock what you require, we will order in product for you on our next shop order. I understand we are in business to serve anglers and fly tiers that reside locally or wherever you may live when you require quality product and service.

Our regular hours will be from 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. Monday to Friday from Nov/01 – April/31 outside these dates from May/01 – Oct/31 we will be available by appointment only. This is a small family-owned business so we do ask you to try and understand if Bob is out Guiding or doing a school the shop will be closed. If the shop is closed, please feel free to leave a message via e-mail, phone or text to the contact information listed on our contact page. If you absolutely need product outside of business hours for a trip, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to ensure your needs are addressed. I also will set time aside to serve customers by appointment if that is your preferred method of doing business. I understand that anglers want loyal customer service and access to quality products. I am an avid fly fisherman and fly tier, so I understand fully what you as an angler are looking for and I aim to satisfy.
Shipping and delivery
For customers out of town we provide an online mail order service to fulfill your needs, we ship by courier or priority post. If you reside in town, you can drop by for consultations and we can even deliver products to you via direct delivery for free (in town), on orders over $25.00. Feel free to drop by anytime for a coffee to chat or even make an appointment to book a guided trip or school.
